It would be interesting to have the opportunity to talk to some fund managers and ask them if they'd be willing to buy shares of a co based in the Channel Islands. I see LDP's base as a double edged sword- they save on taxes, but I believe it spooks some would be investors out. I have a rule that I don't invest in anything based in the Cayman's and other "exotic" offshore taxhavens, of which the Channel Islands would be. LDP is my sole exception.. Obviously we know it's legit, but I am sure the location raises some red flags for others.
