Here are some realistic projections for tomorrow: If Greenspan leaves rates unchanged with a tightening bias and continues to warn the equity market that inflaton pressures still remain, the bond market and equity market market will sell off and gold will rally strongly.
Easy Al will succeed in slowing the economy dramatically, but can he win the fight against inflation? I think not.
It is going to be very different this time for "new era."
