Just some thoughts on todays action: The real problem could be the way management handled this AM release. Twice in the last 2 weeks we have seen releases from Williams "Williams Communications Group unit will soon complete basic investments associated with building its 33,000 mile fiber optic network, and start to make money." And today, they came out with in this morning's release "To prudently fund the capital needs associated with this expanded business plan, the company expects to access the capital markets during 2000, Schubert said. These actions are expected to allow the company to expand its revenue potential over time" OVER TIME ... DID THE LEFT HAND NOT KNOW WHAT THE RIGHT HAND WAS DOING, TWO WEEKS AGO? That would send spikes through any analyst's computer, let alone momentum investors, and not to mention we dihards. They then went on to state in the conference call that it would have an affect on near term earnings/financials.
In brief, if they have upset the "street", we could see some hard times ahead until they regain the "street's" confidence and prove themselves again as they were just beginning to do. We have all seen this type of activity many times with other stocks and know what could result.

Late today, they did come out with some PR releases to circumvent the damage they had already created. Management was not too strategic in their recent moves as today is proof of that. EOS

I was tempted today at $30.5 and added. However, I would not be surprised to see $25 again (hopefully not) with the advent of a secondary and how management handles it. They have no doubt mislead and botched the lead in to todays news and lost credibility (afformentioned), don't have a clue about advertising, and no doubt got today's late releases out of someone's trash can. So, I will be waiting for proof and probably trading this stock again, but with long term outlook.
Like I said this AM in response to this mornings news release on another board , "We have known for a long time that money would run short late in 2000 (with a strong possibility of secondary), now we have the reality, they are just tagging it to expansion. Sure upset the wagon in any case."
We now need "sensitized" releases from management, otherwise credibility will be totally lost.
