Who needs an expensive, non-rechargeable battery?

You may be right re. limited demand for an expensive, non-rechargeable battery. People might buy one as a backup in case they don't have time to recharge (e.g. during a meeting or while traveling), but that might translate into one or two batteries per customer per year.

Still, even limited demand in a huge market could provide large sales and great profits for a small company.
