SEDONA Corporation To Provide Comprehensive CRM Solution For IBM AS/400; SEDONA's Intarsia More Widely Accessible To Financial Services Organizations

LIMERICK, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 28, 2000--SEDONA(R) Corporation (NASDAQ: SDNA) (www.sedonacorp.com) has announced an agreement with the IBM AS/400 Custom Technology Center in Rochester, Minnesota to port Intarsia(TM), SEDONA's new Internet customer relationship management (CRM) solution for community banks and other mid-sized financial services organizations, to the AS/400 e-business platform.

With the availability of Intarsia on the IBM AS/400, banks that currently experience the superior scalability, manageability and performance of the IBM system will be able to confidently install SEDONA's CRM solution knowing it will be compatible with their existing IT environment, helping to extend previous investments these institutions have made in AS/400 applications, training and technology. The IBM AS/400 is the world's number one midrange platform for running core business applications, and is widely popular among SEDONA's principal customer base of community banks, credit unions, brokerage firms and insurance agencies.

The currently installed customer base of several thousand banks with AS/400 systems will be able to quickly and easily implement the new offering and realize the immediate benefits of greatly increased effectiveness in their customer relationships, marketing programs and customer service operations.
