I've been using TA for all my trading and using Fundementals to eliminate some of the weaker stocks. I've done extensive back testing of many indicators and have found ADX to be the most consistent of any I've tested. Reading for anyone who would like to use TA is a must. Two books I recommend are Computer Analysis of the Futures Market by LeBeau & Lucas, and Introduction to Technical Anaysis by Martin Pring. You'll also find lots of information in the daytrading section here: siliconinvestor.com
