Dan-

AMD and Intel investors have differing perspectives. Amdroids are understandably and justifiably continuing to celebrate the turn around that started almost a year ago. It happened very quickly, and Amdroids expect all good things to happen in the same fashion.
Intel, on the other hand, has a long, long, history of steady growth with some pretty bad bumps along the way. We don't expect the kind of growth AMD has had in the last year, but we are calm enough to understand the rule of small numbers. Intel stock is up 60% YTD. While this may be laughable to Amdroids, we are very happy with it. AMD is proof that the worm turns.
In this context, a year does not mean much. Intel is planning for a future that may downplay the importance of CPU's. AMD is a one-note company (well, maybe 2 with flash). Enjoy your tremendous success while it lasts. I sincerely hope it is permanent for both companies.

Regards,
Frank
