NURUN Acquires Imagix Multimedia, Merger Part of NURUN's
Strategy to Provide end-to-end e-Commerce Solutions

QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--JUNE 28, 2000--NURUN Inc., a subsidiary of the Quebecor Inc.
group, announced today the acquisition of Imagix Multimedia Inc.,
a major multimedia player in the Quebec City region. The
transaction will be made in consideration of the issuance of
common shares and cash.

Founded in 1988, Imagix specializes in audio-visual communication
and multimedia production. The company masters different imaging
and sound techniques to offer a complete range of multimedia
products and services. Its services include the design and
development of Web sites, CD-ROMs and DVDs, interactive terminals,
as well as video documents and multimedia events.

The award-winning company has carried out projects for
organisations such as Parks Canada, Bell, Quebec's Museum of
Civilization, the Pointe-a-Calliere Museum in Montreal, the Eureka
Gallery in Chambery, France, and INO, Canada's largest optics and
photonics R&D centre. Among dozens of other awards, the company
received the Multimedia Cultural Business Award in 1999 from the
Cultural Business Development Society of Quebec (SODEC).

Bernard Chartier indicated that it is with pride and enthusiasm
that the team at Imagix Multimedia joins the NURUN family. "We

Mr. Chartier has nearly twenty years' experience in video and
multimedia production. He started his career at the Centre de
Recherche Industriel du Quebec (CRIC), then moved to Cossette and
Associates before founding Imagix in 1988.

According to Jean-Yves St-Arnaud, Vice President and General
Manager of NURUN in Quebec, Mr. Chartier and his team have what it
takes to work with NURUN on an international level and will bring
valuable skills to NURUN clients. "We have already worked with
Imagix on several projects and we were extremely satisfied with
our joint success," said Jean-Yves St-Arnaud. "Thanks to Imagix,
we now offer our clients a wider range of Web services and we will
position ourselves as a leader in integrated Internet solutions,
including Web integration, business strategy, marketing
communications and technical e-commerce expertise."
