Outlook for Q3C2000: A few positive comments from Merrill: Vitesse should see a 40~50% sequential increase in its OC-192 business at Lucent. Revenue also seems to be picking up at Fujitsu and Cisco. Nortel continues to take OC-48 parts stemming from its acquisition of Cambrian, and is buying parts from Vitesse's SiTera subsidiary as well. Overall visibility coming into the September quarter is good. Merrill's checks indicate that Vitesse has booked essentially all of its telecom revenues for the September quarter, and should come into the quarter 75% to 80% booked overall.
