Greetings David--I was sorry to hear that your health had taken
a turn for the worst. I've collected Scriptures to help build your
faith in the healing power in Jesus's redemption. Christ not
only died for our sins but also for our sicknesses. To appropriate
healing by faith, it is necessary for us to build our faith
on the word of God and not on the opinions of men. "Faith comes
by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." If we can clearly
establish from the Word of God that healing is the Will of God, then
we can pray with confidence and faith that our prayers will be anwered
when we pray for healing.
It is always good to cleanse our hearts from all sins by going to
the throne of Grace and examining ourselves carefully and cleansing
ourselves from all sins. In first John 1;9, it says "If we confess
our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is a great gify from God.
After being Born Again, we can continuously clanse ourselves from
sins by sincerely confessing our sins. Jesus continuously cleanses
us with His shed Blood. Glory and praises to His name foreevermore.
There are other ways to have our sins forgiven after we have been
Born again. Jesus taught us to pray the Lord Prayer--"Forgive
us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us".
This is a very powerful way to have our sins forgiven. Search
out our hearts and forgive all those who have trespassed against us.
Every time someone trespasses against us, we can count it as a blessing
and a source of Grace since it provides us with the opportunity to
forgive them and have our sins forgiven. Praise the mercy and the
wisdom of our Lord.
Finally, we must pray for one anothe as we observer each other falling
into sins. 1John5:16 says: "If any man see his brother sin a sin
which is not unto eeath, he shall ask, and he shall give him life
for them that sin not
unto death:" This is one of the most glorious powers that God has
ever given a Christian--the ability to pray and get the forgiveness
of sins for other Christians. This is a glorious thing and not
practiced very much among modern Christians.--

Here are the Scriptures that I collected for you. I strongly recommend
that you divide them into several groups and read these Scriptures on
healing everyday until they are imprinted in your mind and spirit.
They will build up your faith in the will of God about healing and
help you get your healing through the Word and Power of God.

came to Him in the New Testament and He heals those who have

This verse proves that Jesus redeemed us from both sins and sicknesses.

He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their
destruction.
This was under the old covenant. How much more under the New Covenant
in Jesus' Blood.

If Jesus healed under the old covenant that was imperfect, how
much more does He heal under the perfec New Covenant in His Blood.
For it is Christ that obeyed all the commandments and statutes for
us. We are therefore perfectly righteous under His Blood.

I will try to get more Scriptures on healing later. Once
you establish in your heart that Jesus desires to heal you,
it will build your faith up to pray for and receive a healing.
The only way Christians can have power producing faith is to
be certain that it is Gods' Will. Once we know its Gods will
we can believe for a miracle. It is just like Salvation.
We must first believe and then the miracle of the New Birth.
Physical healing is easier than recreating a the human spirit
into the image and likeness of God.
May the Lord give you the Grace and faith to appropriate your healing.
When you get your healing through Jesus, it will greatly strengthen
and impower your ministry. |
