I know how you feel, although I've been staying away because of back problems. I think I hurt it when I was closed out in a 36 hole Final two weeks ago 8&6. A team match, these guys were chipping/putting in from all over. Third time I've been in the Finals in ten years....lost twice. I hate that damn tournament. We have a kid who went to college on scholarship. He used to be the perennial Boy's State Champ while in High School. Once in a while we would pair up when he was about 11 or 12. Seeing an eleven-year-old make mincemeat of your 240 yard drive isn't my idea of a fun day either. Now he is at the age where given a strong wind he can drive the shorter par 4's; even those over water. That is scary. Imagine trying to put backspin on your driver so it holds the green? I cannot.
