Hi Jules, when a stock goes through a prolonged sideways/ down period, I'm grateful as it permits establishing a decent position on the setbacks. I did this with Qualcomm for two years [though I must admit at the end of the 2nd year it was getting very discouraging]. IMO, you are absolutely correct that the market's current psychology is "looking for reasons to sell rather than buy". I wonder if you would expand on one of the other reasons on your list, that being the failed WCOM/Sprint merger. Why in the world should that affect VOD negatively? Is it that folks think the whole regulatory world will now stop VOD from further acquisitions? What am I missing? Today's drop seems inexplicable EXCEPT as a sharp, knee jerk reaction to the WCOM news. best, mike doyle
