thank you Herc... The RIO600 on the S3 site says that it will take up to 320meg back packs.. if it runs at 32meg per hour, that is 10 hours.. To make myself clearer, The squaredance caller has a media full of choices. the first selection to play is #22, and the second is #53 etc.. If your RIO 500 will select any of n number of cuts, it is a winner for this application. If this scheme can download a piece from Australia conveniently, then this device is a breakthrough for us.. Another feature that can be derived from this is that music can be adjusted for tempo, while not touching the pitch. this is for slower dancers. I got into this stock because S3 won against Trident for a deal with VIA. I think S3 has a great future and they do seem to be in motion. pete
