Maybe I should clarify. It's difficult to write code for the
chip once you receive it. No different from wanting to write
an operating system, or application software once you receive
the Intel Pentium chip. Chips maybe done, but using it is
another matter. Have you talked with anybody (engineers)
who actually needs to use the chip? Can they give you an
idea after throrough evaluation how long it will take to
build product?

In short, receiving chips is a good thing, but making it
work with the salsa is another thing. This chip may not
taste good with ordinary salsa.

In the end, I think Amati's backup bet with LSI is Godsend.
