I think that the emphasis on this Korea problem fails to appreciate 3 key fundamentals.

1) The growth rate of CDMA will continue to grow grow nicely from this year to next.

2) The replacement market for voice handsets will strengthen sales for CDMA customers.

3) Potential revenues for HDR, China, and WCDMA are not even being forecasted.

This gives you an idea what the analysts are not factoring into the revenue models when they make these revenue adjustments.

QCOM has certainly had their share of missed opportunities lately as the gap from cdmaOne to cdma2000 has given the GSM camp some minor victories. The major victories that QCOM are being totally overlooked - UMTS based auctions in Europe.
