All Cuban families have coercion hanging over their heads 24 hours a day. Either do as the politicians say, or face the consequences.

When you say that "Uncle Fidel could have used coercion", do you mean "increased coercion"? Regardless of how much fun you think that it would be, do you feel that it's fair that the Cuban parents could not object to their children being taken away and sent to a foreign country?
