Epinephrine, you might also mention:

(1) The P4 is set to debut at 1.4 GHz, NOT 1.5 GHz.

(2) The fastest P3 runs at 1 Ghz, not 850 Mhz, making the "nearly twice as fast", really 1.4 times as fast.

(3) Just because the clockspeed is 1.4 times faster does NOT mean the chip will perform 1.4 times better. It could be 1.6 times better... or it could be 1.1 times better than a 1 GHz P3.

Point them to the zdnet article for an example of competent technology reporting.
