Sam re: VIA
I think one of the issues is that VIA claims to supply ~40% of the chip sets used in the W/W PC industry. Any action against them has the potential to impact the ~40% market share for mobo makers, CPU makers, DRAM makers, PC makers, HD makers, graphics makers, sound card makers, PS makers, etc., etc. Would VIA make an ideal target? Would the ITC even consider temporary relief considering the major impact on an entire industry?
TIA
