features an investment of about 350M US$ to cover 1M square KM, about 1/8 of the Australian continent. For less than 100M$ in ground infrastructure, Vod/G*Oz covers the entire continent. Telstra only needs to spend another 2.5B US$ to catch up; good luck.

(kind of makes a couple hundred million buck liquidity problem seem like small potatoes, doesn't it?)
