I can't be more specific at this moment than to say I am getting legal advice. Secondly, and something I didn't mention, if there is a snowball's chance (and I feel sure that Lev never figured he have to pay off to plaintiffs who filed the first lawsuit) I plan to pay an expert to take a look at VLNC trading over the last two years to analyze the anomalies that are well known to a number of us. Finally, there is another aspect to this; I am convinced that NASDAQ does nothing to police either its participants or the MMs. Logically, it is hard to play a threeball combination without a lot of loot. However, there are always individuals and institutions (including Government institutions) that can be tapped. There is, of course, the argument that corporations have no more responsibility to their shareholders than a quarterly report and, perhaps, a yearly meeting. Simply put, as a riproaring capitalist, I would disagree. And therein lies the rub. I also believe that life is to be lived, and I have enjoyed myself immensely, and intend to continue to do so. Maybe I can't shake up the VLNC leadership, but I sure as hell intend to try. |
