In retrospect, the AP article was so bad, probably even AP's internal copy-proofers caught the errors, after they were published.

As you say, there's next to no information on the Intel web site, no MHz's, for example, just a name and "second half."

That "second half" worries me however. The Register also said "2nd half" rather than "October" or "4th quarter."
