Eric and Wily, I don't think dividing up the flash market on the base of NOR or NAND is a terribly helpful exercise.

For example, for consumer applications both NOR and NAND are sufficient for data storage. SanDisk currently offers NOR flash. The FlashVision JV will offer NAND/D2 flash. The information I have read indicates that NOR is more durable than NAND. For embedded/industrial applications the longevity of NOR is preferrable.

More useful compartmentalization of the flash market is by density (low vs. high) and application (code storage vs. data storage). In general code storage = low density while data storage = high density.

I am not sure where you are going with the NAND vs. NOR distinctions, Eric.

Also, I appreciate your attempts to predict earnings, Wily. I think there are too many variables involved to predict more than 3 or 4 quarters in advance. I am content to invest on fundamentals (like the Palm endorsement) and add as quarterly results become available and further define the trajectory of SanDisk's growth curve.
