I don't think so. I could be mistaken, but I seem to remember two fellows from NASA, a few years apart both working on private projects. One took the description of the "chariot" that Ezekial described in the Old Testament and drew engineering drawings of it, even the propulsion system and landing gear. It was published in a book called, "The Spaceships of Ezekial." The other chap took the detailed descriptions of how to build one of the Vimanas, extrapolated the missing data, and built a mercury engine. It did not shoot out mercury vapor, but vaporized the mercury sealed in the engine and used the heat and some special venturi ducts to replicate to a degree a rocket engine. They would have needed alcohol, but he said even wine would have worked as a propellent. It was supposedly powerful enough to propel a small 2-man aircraft.

There are many clues that there was at least one supercivilization in pre-history, maybe more. Additional traces may be in caves located in the mountain ranges near Nepal and Tibet if you can believe T. Lobsang Rampa.
