CHEMICAL FACTS: P.S.- Russett, you are in Canada, so can you list some Fax #s of NEWS MAGs up there that might want to do a story on BMD. We have to get some written words out in Canada and not let the exchange be the sole source of information. I know, your first thoughts would be, let the CDNX handle it but with the dual structure now based in two towns ( cities -Calgary and Vancouver )there seems to be an UNAWARENESS that every step of the way BMD has talked to the Calgary Based Folks before the CDNX combining. What we have is a situation that 12 days past and us holders were not told the REASON FOR THE HALT til that news yesterday. Now, move BMD to the state of TECH in California, figuratively in your minds eye; then the Attorney General of the Silicon Valley state asks for a complete revew
of some science on a public CA trading company such as was apparently discovered by Birch. (( I saw the layers in the beekers myself in NYC )) The layers just may be Nanophase Particles layering in suspension some chemical reaction started in an UNCONVENTIONAL SUBATOMIC WAY! Science folks in a hypothetical company IN CALIFORNIA would not be asked the details of the Patented Protection Process under PP status ( 18 mos anticipated TOP SECRETE STATUS now ) for formulae to be sent all over the Bereaucratsdesks in the Attornys' Generals office, would that be fair!?) Same for CDNX, imagine the loss to BMD then, to Canada and the head start in Oil Sands Land at those 2 million acres that could be the start of the Big Ness and New Ness in Alberta. Something is going to snowball. Just hope that it gets some chemist envolved and not the B-Craps.
I met some of the Chemists and Geologists types envolved. In the birth of this tech. The root canal dental national trade org has one of them on their Board/ and a SW USA gold company has that Former Barrick Counsultant, Max Cooley; co holder of two patents in chemical processes on standrd technology in the last decades as declarred consultant to BM last year. His speciality is organics and assay. Interferrances. I saw a tape of him speaking last week about ( April 28 info 2000 ) the ASSAY INTERFERRANCES of the size above 20 mesh - 400 holes per inch screens-ing of head ore, I assume arsenic and antimony may be masking agents and there well might be several more in the Non Repeatable/Partial Repeats Assays we are seeing at BMD. So SCREEN the stuff but some PARTS mask will always fall thru ( through partly thus a partial repeatablity problem- so 100% repeatiblity is NOT possible) THUS OUR PROBLEM in ASSAY, but NOT A PROBLEM in a process ( patented secret for now process ) ..I bet it will be economic. Under full scale up that is MY INVESTMENT HERE, now!
Wow. That is it - it is so simple. CDNX must change to accept partial repeats NOW or the whoile country will louse something that the OTHER PLACES OF THE WORLD can accept, I expect. That is why I claimed PGM' Odels in Nevada at a few places now.

Chucka - Glad I got that tape seen Sunday. Ooops, that was this week, seems like a MMU Month, LOL/ just kidding, love to visit that side of the Province also.

Chucka-We ( WMA8) have claims in USA near the company that made that Max Cooley tape. MXAM:BB

Platinum-group Element Assessment in Nevada
Fall 1989
Because of the need to reduce the United States' dependence on foreign sources for strategic metals like platinum, and because of the strong prices for several of the platinum group elements (PGE's), the NBMG Geochemical Laboratory is evaluating several different geological environments in Nevada for their PGE potential. PGE mineralization located in most of the environments under investigation in Nevada would represent "unconventional resources" to the extent that worldwide production comes mainly from orthomagmatic ores and placers and Nevada's potential lies mainly with PGE-bearing hydrothermal ores.

Of the 30 hydrothermal PGE occurrences known worldwide, three occur in Nevada. Two of these, both situated in Clark County, have know historical production: the Goodsprings district <bL (Boss and Oro Amigo mines, approximately 400 ounces platinum and 600 ounces palladium) and the (..//..) is also being investigated by NBMG.

The two hydrothermal PGE districts in Clark County, Bunkerville and Goodsprings, have been known since the mid-1800s. These districts define the approximate boundaries of a belt of Proterozoic metamorphic rocks (including mafic and ultramafic igneous rocks and exhalative polymetallic ores) extending in a northwesterly direction through central Arizona into southern Nevada. Although considerably younger, Clark County hydrothermal PGE mineralization appears to be spatially related to these Proterozoic rocks.

Mineralization in the Goodsprings district is confined to hydrothermal ores occurring in dolomitized Lower Mississippian limestone along the Ironside fault in the northwest portion of the district. The Boss mine was the principal producer of copper, gold, silver, platinum, and palladium with subordinate production from the Oro Amigo mine. PGE mineralization is most closely associated with bismuthian plumbojarosite, which may be a secondary (oxidation) mineral. Anomalous palladium abundances reportedly occur also in a rhyolitic dike proximal to the nearby Chiquita mine.
