I usually avoid posting but I'd also like to get more happening on this thread so... This is NOT related to Token Ring. Proteon is really focusing it's efforts on the Globetrotter and the need for easy, secure, inexpensive connects to the internet and intranets. They have licensed their Open Route software to a number of large vendors including IBM. Digital, Motorola, Racal and AT&T. They're products in this area are rated pretty well - but there is lots of competition from much larger companies U.S. Robotics, Cisco etc. They have had tremendous growth in this area but they're Revenue has still been dropping as they're older product lines - token ring adapters, ethernet adapters etc. have fallen off very quickly. This company is in my backyard so I plan on visiting it some time soon. I also know a few people that work there. I've spoken to one of them recently and he's pretty confident they're going to do well. Well like I said I don't like to post so I'm signing off...
