I've just had another thought about the motion for an order of attachment. Again, I'm not up to speed on NY procedure, but in some instances plaintiffs can move for the attachment of business assets if it appears more likely than not that they will eventually prevail in the litigation. The attachment is to prevent the assets from disappearing.

If a response has been filed with the clerk a copy can be obtained for a small fee. Also a copy of the motion for the order of attachment.
