Gee, last time we looked Governor Bush was the most popular governor in the modern history of Texas and leading AlGore the Junior nationally by a huge - and growing - margin. Last time Bush ran in Texas the GOP won every statewide office - another record. All bodes well for a landslide Bush victory in November 2000 against the legendary prevaricator AlGore the Junior, certainly the most dishonest VP in history.
