LAS VEGAS, Jun 29, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Telenetics Corporation (OTC: TLNT)
announced at the International Trucking Show in Las Vegas that McCarney
Technologies, Inc. (MTI) of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, is increasing
its initial order for TruckLink(TM) System from $1.4 million to $5.6.
Developed by MTI, TruckLink(TM) is a leading edge wireless system designed for
diagnostic, maintenance and vehicle location in the heavy duty trucking
industry. TruckLink(TM) is offered as an after-market installation on heavy-duty
trucks, including all makes and models of Mack(R) trucks. TruckLink(TM)
incorporates Telenetics wireless data acquisition technology as is manufactured
by Telenetics.
Commenting on the significant increase of the initial order by MTI, William

real-time maintenance information, as well as detect, capture, store and forward
impending and current complications associated with a vehicle's engine,
power-train and anti-lock brake system. TruckLink(TM) allows users to customize
GPS (Global Positioning Sensors) reports, fault strategies and Mack diagnostic
trouble code reporting. TruckLink(TM) records information in 30-second
increments, 15 seconds before and radio frequency. Any unauthorized entry of the
vehicle is automatically reported to the base station.
