Why don't we start a new thread called, "COOL POSTS BY TEKBOY". Then, whenever he writes one of his mediocre but self-professed cool posts, we can all respond with, "That was a very cool post, Tekboy!" with lots of grinnies and "LOL's"(which will be allowed on the COOL POSTS BY TEKBOY thread) Of course, we would have to suspend curmudgeonness to post on his thread, as well as lose some self respect. But it would probably be worth it so as not to hear the whining anymore.
