Ericsson making sector waves --11:17 am - By Tomi Kilgore Comments made by Ericsson (ERICY: news, msgs) president Kurt Hellstrom regarding the high cost of third-generation mobile phone licenses (see 9:40 item) is having an impact in the sector. Ericsson (ERICY: news, msgs) is now down 1 1/4 at 18 13/16. Among others in the sector, Vodafone AirTouch (VOD: news, msgs) is off 6.8 percent at 40 1/16, Nokia (NOK: news, msgs) is 6 percent lower at 4 3/8, Motorola (MOT: news, msgs) is giving up 3.9 percent to 61 1/16, Qualcomm (QCOM: news, msgs) is losing 2 3/8 to 61 3/16 and Lucent (LU: news, msgs) is 1 23/64 lighter at 56 1/8.
