You all are not aware of this site but some 1,000 or more traders who have come and gone were and are. I named the person who asked me this in an effort to express to you why it was brought here. Again, one of you asked me.
Further, I am not emotional about this issue, not insofar as it concerns professional aspects, in which honesty, fairness and ethical and moral standards are important. This site received national press in February, 1999 - the front pages of both the Wall Street Journal and the New York Timess Business Section - some of you may recall. The words I have used are strong, many of you have said. I agree that they are, and they are also merited. In this I can tell you I am not alone: many former, and presently-becoming-former members of this site agree with me. So this is not a case of "disgruntled former employee launches smear campaign" or anything of that ilk. I have pointed out facts, because this business needs cleaning up, and I believe I have earned the right as one who has witnessed this extraordinary behavior and manner of doing business from both a member's and a moderator's (employee's) perspective. As I pointed out in my first post, I have evidence to substantiate every accusation I laid down in that statement. This was not a whimsical act. I am well aware of the exact import of the words I used. They fit the occasion, I believe. |
