CCGR now shipping X-Men... NEWS OUT

DOYLESTOWN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 2000--Collectible Concepts Group, Inc. (OTC: CCGR - news) has completed initial shipments of X-Men novelty and collectibles merchandise to major retailers in anticipation of the release of 20th Century Fox's Summer Mega-Blockbuster X-Men: Movie which opens Friday, July 14th.

The X-Men-related merchandise has been shipped to 235 MusicLand retail outlets and 80 select Tower Records stores nationwide. Shipments have also been made to several divisions of Twentieth Century Fox for various promotions, and to online retailers, such as ToysRUs.com and AnotherUniverse.com. Products shipped to date include: lapel pins, dog tags, belt buckles and rings, as well as, for the desktop, a paper clip holder based on Magneto's Helmet and a letter opener replica of Wolverine's Adamantium Claws. Also shipped was a replica of the X-Jet.

Peter Brown, National Sales Manager for CCGR, says ``Product will be on display at these major retail outlets as the movie opens. We are thrilled to have such a strong product to showcase our considerable product creation, marketing and distribution capabilities.''

CCGR has a license agreement with Marvel Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: MVL - news), to create a variety of merchandise and establish a Collector's Club to sell their products for the X-Men: Movie. The licensed products range from novelty items such as X-MEN Graduation Rings; Dog Tags; Pins and Belt Buckles, to collectibles such as resin replicas of the featured motorcycle; Blackbird Jet; Cyclops' Visor; Magneto's Helmet; Professor X's Mutant Locator (Cerebro) and Wolverine's Adamantium Claws and Skeleton.
