Where's Dale J.?

Dale, you out there? I remember not too long ago on this thread you led a discussion about how the kick-ass new 8-way W2K Unisys server was going to be in the vanguard of the Intel Army of Darkness' next assault on Sun's lunch.

Guess it kicked the wrong ass (and a good trick that was).

I saw Unisys' written apology on CNBC. Even IBM could learn from the Director of Disappointment Excuses in the UIS marketing department. At the head of the list was one that said "Expected post-Y2K sales rebound didn't materialize!!" Another good one was "Customers putting off purchases due to uncertainty about slowdown in the economy!" I realize everyone has to be an advocate, but if you sink to those depths, why not just use a random number generator for your advocacy?
