PS Again: Exponentials are catching up to Intel...a desktop PC will
never be a supercomputer and supercomputers are a limited market. That
is why INTC is packing on more features to the cpu's it has planned
for the future rather than just going for speed. AMD can do that, too,
but the largest source of AMD's revenues...over 70% last I checked...
is from things other than CPU's. AMD is faring no worse than most of
the tech sector, and better than most...they won't go under, they'll
just be treading water for awhile. And, yes, despite your enlightening
information, I still think AMD is a good company, but not a great one,
and I think it will make me a tidy sum...it's just going to take a little
while.
