I shouldn't have used the word "silly" (sorry, GG!) but my point is many "new" economy stocks are doing very well -- if not back to their pre-April highs, at least making progress toward that end. For example BLDP (speculative fuel cells), IFCI (fiber), RDWR (software for internet traffic) have all doubled just recently, or nearly...

But CPSX, DDEV, PNFT, TNTTF, INVT, SEMX, WCYB, SCCI, zillions of others are still at their lows for the past 4 months, or at new lows. In 2 of those cases, delisting is a factor.b

If some companies survived the Fed (like BLDP) why didn't the others?

Because the Fed is not the culprit. Or if you prefer, not the only culprit.
