Everything I read says that CDMA2000 fits on top of GSM just as well as W-CDMA does. Which is saying very little, since in both cases the GSM guys must start practically from scratch. Nor does it mean I believe that many -- if any -- GSM service providers place that vote with their wallets. Far too much politics involved.
