State bans on PBA's are being overruled by the Supreme Court.

"The justices said Wednesday that the Nebraska law could criminalize other abortion procedures in addition to the one opponents call partial-birth abortion. The law's other big flaw, the court said, was that it lacked an exemption to allow the partial-birth procedure if a doctor concluded it was the best way to preserve a woman's health."
