>>e-bill, if you would like to invent your own colloquial uses for terms of art such as "felon" and "felony" I guess you can. You can also make up your own language while you're at it. The fact remains that President Clinton is NOT a felon. Have fun speaking e-bill to yourself.

You are proved wrong yet again:

Main Entry: 1felúon
Pronunciation: 'fe-l&n
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French felon, fel evildoer, probably of Germanic origin; akin to Old High German fillen to beat, whip, fel skin -- more at FELL
Date: 13th century
1 : one who has committed a felony

Therefore Clinton is a felon by committing a felonious act - no conviction needed. Bill can't yet say - and hasn't said - that Clinton is a convicted felon.

Similarly OJ is a murderer though not criminally convicted.
