I'm still thinking about the applications, military and civilian. Shelf life can be a huge advantage if the cell can be stored indefinately and not degrade quickly in heat. It seems reasonable that since it uses no liquid or gel electrolyte, it could also weigh less which could add to convenience for civilian use and have some very practical benifits for military uses.

I don't have a clear understanding of reporting requirements for foreign companies either. Still, it stands to reason that a security-conscious country like Israel might, er, encourage companies to be less than open insofar as what and how reports are rendered outside it's own borders.

Just mulling over the price bounce and what's behind it. Thanks again for the info,
