You're both likely correct.

We did have a schoolteacher seduce one of her students, a male, and produce a child. At least she was blamed for the seduction. Sentenced to probation, she promptly did it again and had another child by him. He was a willing participant but underage.

My facts may be slightly off but the gist is close enough. Close enough for government prosecution anyway. She's locked up now. He's waiting for her release and his coming of age.

The boy was probably a hero among male adolescents.
