Paul,

In line with my discussion of anomolies, I had mention in the past on several occassions that the EXTREME SECTOR ROTATION we saw last year was an anomoly and the it would eventually get corrected. Last years EXTREME SECTOR ROTATION saw extended periods of time(over 1 month) where the DOW and NAZ went in opposite direction.

Then after the selloff earlier this year, we havent once seen the same level of EXTREME SECTOR ROTATION. There are still EXTREME SECTOR ROTATION which are lasting a few days but not lasting a month and more like it did last year.

So with the recent correction the anomoly of EXTREME SECTOR ROTATION has been corrected to some degree. Whether it has been fully corrected, I dont know.

Just an example of an anomoly that was corrected to some degree by a correction in a market.

To me an anomomly is simply an abnormality in any natural process, and my belief is that anomomlies whether it is in the market or some other natural process, will eventually be corrected to some degree.
