Is this delayed buy-in from funds buying the Russell 3000, or something like a heads-up display for my car's windshield coming down the pike? . . . Something's real.

Don't worry about those EK patents being spread around. Kodak is properly milking them for what it can before they expire. Many companies license them. It's what companies make of them that matters.
