| Í didn't know Edwarda, came upon this thread accidently. Since I'm recovering from a near-death state myself under extremely similar conditions, I thought I'd throw this out. I had lung hemmorrhaging, heart, liver failure, ICU for a long time, etc., during the last 5 yrs. Mayo Clinic finally figured it out. Exposure to stachybotris, a L4 mycotoxin found in molds that proliferate in wet cellulose, like older particle-board type stuff. Usually unseen, it hugs roofing, attics, spaces between walls, etc. Just being discovered in last few years, but it's a killer. Most assuredly many people sensitive to this stuff have just died w/o explanation before this. Haven't read all the posts, but saw that she had been ill on and off with respiratory symptoms for months. This is a hallmark of the exposure, it's cumulative. And having work done somewhere in the nooks and crannies of the building will disturb and distribute it more than anything. If anyone wants to know more they can PM me. Hate to see anything like this happen to anyone else..;-( |
