I don't see the story as ending here at all ... sure the immediate threat of the Miami whackos has been dealt with, but Elián has a long way to go, there will be other threats ... among them the dictator of fourty years - once the gangster deification crowd abates here we could tear a slice or two off Fidel's rump ... now that Elián is home it is Castro's game to lose, and lose it he will, unless he smartens up and makes a legacy move of declaring free elections, and he won't do that because dictators just don't, they hang on until they expire or are shot.

But there will be lots of Cuba news ... it ain't over.
