Chicken ole pal, it's been a while since we've talked, how have you been? You know you should listen to that nice neighbour of yours, not about the drugs but about your religion, couldn't hurt.

I am a bit disturbed about that Ritalin. I've heard cases of overactive children being prescibed it in order to slow them down. But many times, and you are right, it's actually the child's diet which lies at the root of the problem. You feed a child too much sugar and their body is going to respond in a negative way. Children need nourishment but many parents just don't get it.

I've read of a study, and I'm sorry I don't have the article to back it up, but young children were asked what they would prefer for breakfast. They were told that they could have anything in the whole wide world, and you know what? They did not go for the goody goody, garbage stuff. They actually chose well balanced nutritional things for themselves. A big thumbs up for them!

Chris
