fascinating..... before the open...... someone on instanet shows and drops the ask substantially below yesterday's close and the current bid. Severall MMs take the cue and drop off the bid. Spear et al. and Knight drop the ask and the instanet signaler disappears.

if I had done that with the ask, someone would have swept in and taken the shares.

is this wisdom, given the number of shares that one instanet seller has dumped, or is it cooperation among those who should not be collaborating?
