70 is a layup??? a little pump:
Andy Schroepfer, Senior Analyst, Goldman Sachs
Interviewed by John Bishop

The Telecomm Analyst recently spoke with Andy Schroepfer, senior research analyst at Goldman Sachs, about DELTATHREE.COM (DDDC). He thinks the company will beat its competitors in the race to voice-enable the
Internet.
[THE TELECOMM ANALYST – JOHN BISHOP] What does DELTATHREE.COM do?

[ANDY SCHROEPFER] It voice-enables the Web by offering the ability to make phone calls through the Internet, sometimes saving customers 80% on what they'd normally pay through
a standard long-distance carrier. But what's more exciting are DELTATHREE.COM's enhanced services, such as voice-enablement for e-commerce, voice-enabled interactive greetings cards, and unified messaging that would allow
you to receive your e-mails, faxes, and voice mails on your PC.

[JB] What is your rating on the stock?

[AS] I have a STRONG BUY rating on it. My revenue estimate for 2001 is just under $70 million, and I have a $77 price target with a 12-month time frame.

[JB] Who are its competitors?

[AS] IBASIS (IBAS), ITXC (ITXC), and GRIC COMMUNICATIONS (GRIC) are all competitors, in that they provide phone calls over the Internet. But DELTATHREE.COM's most direct competitor is NET2PHONE (NTOP). NET2PHONE and DELTATHREE.COM are enablers and are similar to a local carrier like BELL ATLANTIC (BEL). Meanwhile IBASIS, ITXC, and GRIC are wholesalers acting like a long distance carrier.

[JB] What can we expect from the company?

[AS] You should expect some new deals. DELTATHREE.COM has already entered into partnerships with YAHOO! (YHOO), CNET (CNET),
XOOM.COM (XMCM), CBS (CBS), and SONY (SNE) to voice-enable their Web sites. But many of the most popular Web sites aren't
voice-enabled yet. Those sites will probably go with DELTATHREE.COM because of the enhanced services it provides, in comparison to
NET2PHONE, which has a much narrower selection. Beyond that, you should expect some new acquisitions, as well as an assortment of
new services.
