One word: SCREAMING!!!!!

I just got off the phone with Robin Kelley, Investor Relations Director of Imatron, Inc.

Robin was bubbly and extremely confident. The conversation started by mutual agreement that there was a line that she could not cross with me. But by careful wording of questions and answers, here's the bottom line:

--- As of this minute, "right now, today" (Friday, June 30, 2000) Imatron CEO Dr. Lewis Meyer is completely assured of making the sales quota for **this** quarter, to keep Imatron moving **progressively** forward, to show **increasing profits** over last quarter.

--- Things are going very, very well at Imatron.

--- It is not an uncommon practice for Imatron to release the sales PR **after** the final day of the quarter, because the hospital or facility wants to control the exact timing and wording of the announcement, after the scanner is completely in place, and the doors are ready to open to the public.

So, what does all of this mean? It means that IMAT longs can now enjoy a very comfortable and pleasant long July 4 weekend.

Stay tuned!!

P.S. --- Robin and I also talked about the new Toshiba developments. But I'll save just what she told me until next week.

P.S.S. --- If you aren't heavily long IMAT yet, you might want to seriously thing about grabbing some. Quick!!!! Just a few hours left.
