OpenROUTE has been adding to its product line this spring and I have not seen many comparisons out in publications yet for some of the new product line but last fall there was a strategic networks report out comparing the Globetrotter model 60 or 70 against some of the larger competitors like Cisco and 3Com. I think it is still available on the OpenROUTE web site. I am an investor in this company because I think they have a shot at getting some of the market share in remote access products, no doubt they are a small player compared to the mega networkers like Cisco or 3 Com but if they stay close to their customer base and build upon it with good products and support they might carve out a niche market or perhaps merge or be bought by someone wanting their product line. I especially think the security additions being built into their product line like the announcement today will enhance OpenROUTE's chances of making their products successful. The key in my opinion will be the next couple of quarters, if they can build revenue and keep their 20 million in cash then they should continue to move up in price this year.
