Check Apple's Press Releases during this weeks developer's conference. Today's news is that you don't have to buy a machine to try Rhapsody. If you want to run a program you can run it on Win95 or NT using the OS extensions for Rhapsody's APIs. Or, you can buy Rhapsody for your PC and get the Mac interface and file system, etc. It doesn't require DOS. It will include WebObjects and Java support within the OS's API's making it's Web/Networking integration seamless. You can use the OS to publish your files as "pages" with selected network access from your desktop automatically making every Rhapsody desktop into a personal server. Apple's hardware won't be as tough a sell if PC users try the OS features before buying.
